Samsung Galaxy S3: The Next Big Thing Is Finally Here

Samsung has unveiled their new flagship model, and consumers are falling in love with it. First impressions seem to be in favor of the South Korean telecommunication giant. Many network operators are already offering Samsung Galaxy S3 deals on pre-orders. Consumers have given this handset great reception, but many critics are not happy with this device. Let's have a look at the major features of this device to get a better understanding of it.

Design:

First, the design is somewhat more similar to the first S rather than the previous edition. Samsung has decided to make curvy design instead of the rectangular design. The plastic body is not at all inspiring. For a high-end model like this, a plastic body is not sufficient. The so-called "nature-inspired" design is interesting at first, but isn't impressive once you hold the device in your hand. Anyway, this handset is available in white and pebble color options only.

Screen:

Moving on, the Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with a whopping 4.8-inch screen. Now days, such huge screens have become the norm. The standard home button has been placed at the bottom. Two touch-sensitive keys are also present. The resolution is sufficient as well. Viewing movies and pictures on such a huge screen has always been pleasant.

Camera:

Capturing those special moments is possible with the 8 MP snapper. But, many consumers are not happy with this. They were expecting something more from the new handset from the house of the South Korean telecommunication giant. Perhaps 12 MP snapper would have been sufficient. Still, it is sufficient for amateurs like us.

Operating system:

While other manufacturers are churning out handsets with the outdated Gingerbread operating system, Samsung has produced a handset with ICS right out of the box. The interface seems similar to the previous version. Samsung could have customized the interface to give the device a fresh feeling.

S Voice:

After Apple it's the turn of the South Korean manufacturer to come up with its own personal digital assistant. S Voice is the answer to Apple's Siri. This feature can do a lot of basic tasks for you, like making an appointment, or setting an alarm. It can even take a snap for you. The feature is far from being perfect, but playing with it is indeed fun.

Conclusion:

Samsung Galaxy S3 is an over-hyped product indeed. But, it does not mean that it's not an impressive gadget. As a matter of fact, this handset comes with a stunningly swift CPU, a superb screen and a decent camera. The only drawback is its design and plastic body. It does not appear like a premium product at all. Samsung should take design cues from Apple. Anyway, iPhone 5 is also slated to come this year. Hence, many users would like to wait before making any final decision.

Anyway, Samsung Galaxy S3 deals have already been offered by many networks. If you desire to buy this smartphone, head over to internet. Online market is the best place to find mobile phone deals. Consider your budget and needs before making any purchase.
