With the inception of mobile apps, developers are constantly looking for options to make way for creativity and diversity. However, this has become increasingly difficult as App Store and Google Play witness thousands of app launches every day. A small mistake could turn out to be very costly as margin for error is very slim. If you are looking to get some flawless applications for your smartphone, this article could guide you.
Gin Rummy Free: Gin Rummy is a hugely popular card game for 2 players, where the aim is to form sets and runs of cards before your opponent. This app brings this classic card game to your Android. After launching the app, players can test their skills against 15 unique opponents. The skill levels of the opponents are indicated by stars. If they are not familiar with Gin Rummy, they can read the Game Rules and How to Play to explore the app. Therefore, this app provides everything a user needs to learn to get into the game! However, this app might not be the one for lower end devices. Gin Rummy Free requires 1.5 and up and there is also a paid version available.
Arena Pinball: This is a multiplayer action game, where players need to beat their opponents to five holes. It has two separate modes of play, each with multiple games of their own. The Classic game employs a turn based method of playing, either against a computer or another human. The Arcades style of game is a bit different. In this mode users have to shoot their balls into the holes, to claim them. In Arena Pinball, four arenas are available for free. By making an in-app upgrade for 99 cents, users can get access to 8 more arenas. In my opinion, the developer needs to work on the App Store description to tell users more about the game. Arena Pinball is compatible with iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or later.
LexiMobile HD: This app has all the essential features to help users solve even the hardest of the crossword puzzle. It has five sections - Categories, Thesaurus, Crossword, Search Result and User Setup. As all the words are loaded inside the app, it needs no internet connection to work. If the users can't find the word in the app they search with websites like Google, Wikipedia and Dictionary (website) inside LexiMobile HD. They can also add their preferred search engines to it. In my opinion, the Help section is inevitable for any app and this app misses it. Never mind! It is pretty easy to use. LexiMobile HD is compatible with iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later. It also has an iPhone version.
According to me an app should get recognition just by virtue of its great and innovative functionality. Therefore, it is important for the developers to find beta testers to get early feedback. They can guide them in what works and doesn't work in their apps. This could help developers build such an app. I have listed a few impressive apps here. Just give them a try!
